The goal of this course is to familiarize students with main principles of learning and teaching.

COURSE CONTENT:
Introduction to Educational psychology.
Research methodology in Educational psychology.
Behaviorism: Classical conditioning.
Behaviorism: Operational conditioning.
Social learning theory.
Cognitivist approaches to learning and memory.
Knowledge. Higher cognitive processes. Metacognition.
Constructivism. Self-regulated learning.
Individual differences in the classroom: Abilities.
Individual differences in the classroom: Personality and learning styles.
Planning and choosing teaching methods.
Main teaching methods.
Evaluating students' learning accomplishments.
