Description:
The syllabus has been devised in order to enable the students to aquire the necessary knowledge and competences. During the course, style issues and problems painting to the Dalmatian school of painting will be presented as specific regional painting activities recorded in Dalmatia from mid-14th to the 16th century, taking into consideration the transfer and fluctuation of artistic influence. Particular attention will be given to the most significant artistic individualities, viewd in Italian, especially in the Venetian context. The students will be taught how to make use of scientific and professional literature, as well as a scientific approach to research, interpretation, and evaluation of the visual arts from 14th to the 16 th century, with particualr emphasis upon the national heritage of the aforementioned period.
Introduce students to Dalmatian school of painting.
Introduce students to art styles and issues pertaining to the Dalmatian school of painting which will be presented as specific regional painting activities in Dalmatia from mid-14th to the 16th centuries.
Enable students to reasearch in Dalmatian school of painting at the theoretical and professional levels.
