Shudder of the New - conference on cultural objects and posthuman politics

A one-day international conference by the name of Drhtaj novog / Shudder of the New - Conference on cultural objects and posthuman politics took place on July 6 in Beton Kino - the Multimedia Hall of the Youth Center in Split. Participants discussed topics in speculative fiction and film, economics, Korean literature, environmental studies, and other topics in the field of humanities. 

The meeting was organized by the Center for Cross-Cultural and Korean Studies of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split, Korean Studies Promotion Services, and the Studia Mediterranea Center

The conference's keynote speaker was Sherryl Vint (University of California, Riverside).
