Women in science - gender equality day took place at our Faculty

Gender equality promotion day took place May 19 (Friday) 2023 at our Faculty, as part of the Friendship in May series of events.

The gender equality program consisted of the following lectures/discussions:

11:00 "Do women receive less academic credit than men?" by Nina Vitlov, University Department of Forensic Sciences

11:30 "How to deal with prejudices in business circles?",by  Paula Marasović, Liberato association

12:00 "Continuing the dialogue: inter-institutional cooperation of students", by Lea Fabijan, Antonia Mihovilović, Art History students 

12:30-13:30 Panel discussion: "The future of women in science"

Panel discussion participants were the following: Ana Marušić, Faculty of Medicine; Leandra Vranješ Markić, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Natalija Dunić, Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, Nediljka Vukojević Medvidović.

Moderator of the event was Antonela Marić, vice dean for research and international cooperation
