As a doctoral student, he was focused on the psychology of morality, specifically the development of moral reasoning in young adulthood. During that time, he worked as a lecturer in scientific methodology at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, and as an editor at the Croatian Medical Journal. He connected these three roles in research related to various aspects of medical education, scientific research, and scientific integrity.
Transitioning to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Split, he shifted my focus to "research on research." From 2016 to 2020, as the principal investigator at the University of Split, he led the Methods in Research on Research project under the Horizon 2020 Innovative Training Networks program (http://miror-ejd.eu/).
Upon completion of that project, he redirected my professional interests towards teaching in the Psychology program and scientific topics related to the psychological and health aspects of long-distance swimming and the use of psychedelics in psychiatry.
