Description:
To enable students for the initial independent and successful research of simple pedagogical problems, statistical data processing (collecting, sorting and presenting) in the teaching and in scientific research as well as independent use of scientific results in professional work.
Learning outcomes:
  1. to explain gnoseological basics and epistemological characteristics of science
  2. statistically collect, edit, process, analyze and display data
  3. to discuss about the methodological issues
  4. to explain the characteristics of scientific cognition
  5. to differentiate qualitative and quantitative methodology
  6. to indicate the basic characteristics of the methods of data collection
  7. to develop various instruments to collect data
  8. to analyze scientific papers and identify the characteristics of a good professional and scientific paper
  9. on the basis of research problem to make a plan of qualitative (action) and quantitative research and to choose the appropriate procedures for data collection
  10. to conduct a research
  11. to explain basic statistical concepts
