Description:
The objective of the course is to acquaint students with the key developmental stages of the scientific and cultural discipline of art history, its key protagonists, and their scientific and interpretative methods from ancient times to modern times. With an insight into historiography (history of Art history), students will be introduced to the key scientific and interpretative tools of a discipline. The thematic units of the course include text production and selected visual examples.
1. Introduction to the course (presentation of course goals and objectives, ie work program)
