Description:

The "Comparative pedagogy" course offers an overview of methods, main concepts and current issues in the area of comparative pedagogy. This course is designed in a way that facilitates students' understanding of the main advantages and limitations of international comparative research, introduction to research methodology and the main theoretical issues in comparative pedagogy. Main course goals will be obtained through simultaneous teaching and critical thinking on role of education on a state and global level. The emphasis of the course is on the relation among cultural, economical and political factors in the development of education.
