Description:
The aim of this course is to acquaint the students with fundamental concepts and ideas of literature in diachrony, namely with basics in poetics, rhetoric, literary theory and literary criticism. The main goal is to introduce and implement different concepts in approaching a literary work, and to gain an insight into relationships a literary text has with poetics and politics of enunciation. Also, the goal is to locate literary work in different paradigms of literature, history, and culture.
Students are enabled in acquiring knowledge and skills in philological text analysis. One of the goals is to perceive ideological, political, and other hegemonic layers inscribed into literary and other historical texts. Additionally, students will gain insight into diverse methodological approaches to both literary and non-literary texts, mostly those from the 2nd half of the 20th century. This will prepare them for independent analysis and understanding of historically located texts on a clearly defined methodologies and premises of reading.

  2. Uvod u književnost, Teorija, metodologija, Peto izdanje, Studenti će se u izradi seminarskog rada i određenih ispitnih pitanja služiti odgovarajućim poglavljima (Npr. Proza, Versifikacija, Književna kritika, Problemi književne povijesti itd., Zdenko Škreb i Ante Stamać, Nakladni zavod Globus, 1998.
