
Students from the Department of Italian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities in Split took part, from 30 November to 5 December 2025, in the “Peer Tutoring Training Programme for Students” as part of project activities at the University of Gdańsk, Poland. The project activity was organised within the international project Transformation of Competencies at the University: Peer-Tutoring as a Key Element of Student Development Support (Peer-EDU), coordinated by the University of Gdańsk, with the University of Malta and the Faculty of Humanities in Split as partners.
Eight students from the Faculty of Humanities in Split completed the peer tutoring training programme: Maria Giljanović, Kristina Granić, Sara Krivić, Lea Klarić-Kukuz, Lorens Lončar, Marta Muše, Nina Mirović and Vanja Semerad, together with 36 other students from the University of Gdańsk and the University of Malta.
In addition to participating in the 50-hour (2 ECTS) project activities organised in six modules, the students, together with students from Poland and Malta, also took part in various cultural activities.
External collaborators on this project are the University of Kiel (Germany) and the University of Groningen (the Netherlands). The project coordinator for the Faculty of Humanities in Split is Prof. Nikica Mihaljević, PhD, and the project associate is Prof. Antonela Marić, PhD. The project is funded by the Polish Science Agency.
